ever used by doctors. Amphetamine is
manufactured illegally and is usually
sold in a very impure form as a powder.
Most users sniff the powder though
some inject it. The resultant elevation
in mood lasts several hours. Overdose
may lead to hallucinations and even
severe mental illness. Death from heart
failure has been seen in some users.
Tolerance develops with repeated use
and very high doses may be required for
the same effect.
