Emergency treatment of overdose
If you suspect that someone has
taken an overdose, the following "First
Aid" principles apply.
A. Make sure they can breathe freely.
Turn them onto their side and pull the
head back so that breathing is not
obstructed by the tongue or vomit.
B. Call medical help immediately. Dial
999 and ask for an ambulance.
C. Stay with them till help arrives.
D. Make sure that any drugs or powders
are taken to hospital with them for
examination.
