Offline Database


Healthdata was also available as a disc based offline database, also in the viewdata format.  It seems as if it was mostly a copy of the online content, so we present it here for your delight and access..

    Whooping Cough vaccine should not be
 given in certain circumstances.        
                                        
    -during a feverish illness.         
    -if a child has had convulsions or  
 if there is epilepsy in the immediate  
 family.(brother,sister,father,mother)  
    -if there has been a reaction to a  
 previous dose of whooping cough vaccine
                                        
    There is no contraindication for the
 majority of children. If in doubt ask  
 your Health Visitor or Doctor.         
                                        
    Research is being undertaken to     
 develop a safer whooping cough vaccine 
 so that more children can be protected.
