Offline Database


Healthdata was also available as a disc based offline database, also in the viewdata format.  It seems as if it was mostly a copy of the online content, so we present it here for your delight and access..

   This is with medicine or tablets that
 are available from chemists. You may   
 prefer to go to you doctor who will be 
 able to give you a prescription. It is 
 always best to treat the whole family  
 and close contacts. You must follow the
 instructions carefully.                
                                        
   How can they be prevented?           
   Wash hands after going to the toilet 
 and before preparing or eating food.   
   Keep fingernails short and vacuum any
 carpets frequently.                    
   Remember, threadworms are very common
 especially in children. If you suspect 
 infection it is easy to get treatment.
