The Beastie Boys - Licensed To Ill

An incredible debut album, the Beasties
take the RUN DMC concept of rap rock a
stage (or 3) further.
The album is self inflating and so very
sexist (check out 'Girls') but is also
very tongue in cheek, a huge relief af-
ter listening to some very pompous rap
albums.
This is, very simply, the hardest album
of the decade, and if it doesn't awaken
teenage dreams of rebellion, then you
already have one foot in your grave.
