stops ovulation. Hormone is injected in
to muscle and is released very slowly.
Advantages
One injection works for up to three
months. No daily pill to remember. Does
not interfere with lovemaking.
Disadvantages
Irregular periods. It may take many
months for them to become regular again
after discontinuing the method. Some
doctors have reservations on its use
except in special cases.
