Offline Database

Healthdata was also available as a disc based offline database, also in the viewdata format.  It seems as if it was mostly a copy of the online content, so we present it here for your delight and access..

Do note that this information is at least 20 years old.  Please do not rely on anything in here as current medical advice; for that please visit the NHS website.

How to get NHS Dental Treatment

Most work carried out as part of
an agreed NHS treatment plan will be
guaranteed for 12 months. In most cases
any repair work needed within this time
will be carried out by your registered
 dentist free of charge.

       Some treatment, not essential for
dental health, is not available under
the NHS. This mainly concerns cosmetic
 treatment. Your dentist will explain
about any private treatment and include
details in your NHS treatment plan.

Your dentist can charge you if
You fail to keep an appointment without
 giving reasonable notice.
