Offline Database
Healthdata was also available as a disc based offline database, also in the viewdata format. It seems as if it was mostly a copy of the online content, so we present it here for your delight and access..

Opticians & Optometrists It is possible that as many as one in three people who should wear glasses do not have them. Most people should have a sight test about every 2 or 3 years. Optometrists may discover early signs of disease when they examine your eyes. Unless you are in an exempt group you will have to pay for the sight test and for glasses if you need them. Make an appointment for an NHS sight test at any local optician. Ask your friends and neighbours with glasses, or contact the local Family Health Service Authority for a list.
