Genital Warts
These are caused by a virus related
to the one that causes ordinary warts
elsewhere on the body.
They can be single or multiple and
look like fleshy growths or small flat-
headed warts occuring anywhere in the
genital region.
STD clinics treat genital warts by
carefully applying a special paint.
They also check for other infections.
It looks as though there is a link
between genital warts and cancer of the
cervix. Women who have them should have
cervical smear tests every year.
