What are Micronet and Prestel??
Micronet is a product on the Prestel
database, it is run by Publishing and
Transaction Services Group of Prestel.
PRESTEL, which is part of British
Telecom, owns and runs the entire
system. It then rents out space on the
system to INFORMATION PROVIDERS (IPs
for short). Micronet is the largest IP.
You can be a member of Prestel without
being a member of Micronet, but you
can't belong to Micronet and not to
Prestel.
